Chassis Division
What We Do:
Chassis members work closely with the other engineering divisions to design a frame that meets global design goals and provides structural rigidity and mounting for other core components. The chassis division is also responsible for the control systems of the car, including components such as the pedal box and steering wheel, optimizing driver ergonomics and safety. Division members gain real-world experience with modeling components in SolidWorks, Altair HyperWorks, jigging and manufacturing a vehicle chassis, and interdisciplinary technical communication.
